For The Leaf Slug
Life of A Slug
Since much isn't known about the leaf slug, scientists have been unable to identify its circle of life. However, the leaf slug is part of the sacoglossan sea slug family. Its a species of sacoglossan and therefore, is related to other sacoglossans in the family tree.
For this reason, scientists have used the general sacoglossan life cycle to hypothesize a leaf slugs. By doing so, they can conclude particular characteristics and habits of the slug!
The Slug Species
As mentioned earlier, a lot about the leaf slug is unknown. Hence, researchers dont know how many species of them exist. However, they do know that over 2,000 species of sea slugs exist. Each species has their own features that make them unique!

Slug Life Expectancy
Much isn't known about how long leaf slugs live. However, researchers know that out of all the species of slugs, some live 6 months, others species 12 months, and some even 18!
